Case Study: BMW Group France accelerates digital document workflows with Adobe Acrobat Sign

A Adobe Case Study

BMW Group France digitalizes its business processes with Adobe Acrobat Sign

BMW Group France needed to modernize slow, paper-based document workflows to support remote work, improve employee experience, go paperless, and stay GDPR- and eIDAS-compliant. Using Adobe Acrobat Sign, the company was looking to streamline signatures across HR, legal, purchasing, sales, and dealer agreements while reducing administrative burden and compliance risk.

Adobe implemented Acrobat Sign integrated with BMW Group France’s existing DocuWare and archiving systems, creating an end-to-end digital process for creating, signing, and storing documents. The results were significant: signing times dropped from weeks to less than 48 hours on average, and in some cases from months to three days; 10,000 documents a year are now signed digitally, representing about 200,000 pages; and BMW Group France reported lower costs, reduced compliance risk, and a better employee and customer experience.
