At Home supports JA Amenity House with a fully digital Smart Contracts service using Adobe Sign

At Home, a real-estate systems and services provider, partnered with JA Amenity House (which manages over 20,000 rental units) to address the industry’s heavy reliance on paper-based contract workflows. Manual mailing, faxing and paper storage created long lead times, high administrative costs and a poor tenant experience, and changes had to comply with the Building Lots and Buildings Transaction Business Act.

At Home implemented Smart Contracts using Adobe Acrobat Sign, collecting tenant email addresses via QR-code postcards and enabling tenants to view and sign renewals online by typing a name or signing on device. The pilot eliminated mailing and paper storage, reduced processing lead times and administrative costs, provided real-time tracking of documents, and smoothly handled roughly 200 monthly renewals—plans are underway to expand digital contracts to additional workflows.
