ABB Brazil, a division of the global industrial technology leader ABB, needed to recreate the personalized service and convenience of its local lojas online so contractors, businesses, and consumers across the country could quickly find and buy electrical products. The goals were to provide fast, nationwide access, streamline ordering and delivery for busy professionals, and serve both B2B and B2C customers without building separate platforms.

ABB built the ABB Online Marketplace on Adobe Commerce, integrating Mirakl for third‑party sellers and supported by McFadyen Digital, to deliver a single, scalable e‑commerce portal with features like product bundling and expert support. The marketplace boosted site traffic, sales, and customer loyalty year over year—sales in Q1 2021 equaled all of 2020—and established a best‑practice, scalable model now being extended to other markets.
