House of blues decreases busywork, delivers higher quality with workfront

House of Blues’ small in-house creative team was responsible for delivering roughly 250 projects per month across 33 venues, even after the team shrank from four to three. Requests and design proofs were managed through email, creating versioning chaos, poor accountability, and limited visibility into workloads and priorities—making it difficult to keep up without frequent nights and weekends.

In fall 2012 they implemented Workfront, using its intuitive interface, centralized proofing, and an on-site consultant to configure workflows; the team was up and running within 45 days. The platform enabled real-time collaboration and automated reporting, reduced overtime, improved resource management, and gave leaders up-to-the-minute project visibility—freeing designers to focus on higher-quality work within six months.
