FCB, a global advertising agency with thousands of Workfront users, faced the challenge of introducing a redesigned Workfront experience across a large, distributed organization without disrupting ongoing work. The goal was to modernize the UI and streamline workflows while collecting feedback and minimizing rollout risk.
FCB implemented a controlled, phased rollout—starting with early adopters, expanding in waves to project managers, producers and account teams, and running small-group walkthroughs and open training sessions—while keeping the option to switch users back to the legacy view during transition. The outcome: a sleeker, more customizable interface with fewer clicks, faster task management and greater predictability, and a plan to have all users on the new experience by October 5.
