Citrix Establishes a Single Source of Truth for NPI Project Information in Workfront

Citrix’s New Product Introduction (NPI) group, which manages hardware design, reliability and cross‑functional launches, struggled with a manual, spreadsheet-based project process that forced weekly status meetings, thousands of emails, and time‑consuming reporting. Static exports of the project plan of record made it hard to track dependencies, delinquent tasks and compliance requirements across multiple teams and external suppliers, creating a need for a real‑time, single source of truth.

NPI deployed the Workfront Enterprise Work Management solution to centralize templates, tasks, issue tracking and dashboards, giving users “My Work” views and automated reports. As a result, Citrix shortened compliance meetings by about 50%, cut the NPI director’s email volume by an estimated 35%, accelerated reporting from hours to seconds, and improved collaboration across roughly 40 task owners while managing ~400 launch tasks annually.
