University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Customer Case Study

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill faced the challenge of building campus-wide digital literacy and preparing students for 21st-century careers. To address this, the University partnered with Adobe Photoshop to provide Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise licenses and services to students and faculty, integrating creative tools into coursework across disciplines.

Adobe Photoshop implemented campus-wide access to Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop CC, Premiere Pro CC, InDesign CC, Adobe Spark, Acrobat DC, etc.) and used the Adobe Admin Console and Named User Licensing to simplify provisioning and reduce IT overhead. As a result, roughly 29,000 students gained hands-on experience creating multimedia projects, faculty spent less time on technical support, students shared work via Adobe Portfolio and Behance, and the University reported stronger student engagement and improved career-ready digital skills—outcomes enabled by Adobe Photoshop.
