A Adobe Photoshop Case Study
The American Red Cross needed to raise awareness of its Restoring Family Links program and scale training for paid staff and nearly 314,000 volunteers so caseworkers could reconnect families after disasters. To expand online content and reduce reliance on in-person classes, the American Red Cross turned to Adobe Photoshop, using Adobe Captivate (2017 Release) alongside other Creative Cloud tools to build interactive, mobile-friendly eLearning modules.
Working with Adobe Photoshop, the Red Cross launched eight RFL modules that include quizzes, video and responsive design; in the first 12 months more than 440 people completed the Restoring Family Links Casework course. The initiative drove a 4x increase in volunteer eLearning completions, cut one-on-one retraining, improved learning consistency, freed staff to focus on casework, and set the stage to grow online learning from roughly 10% toward 40% as the organization develops 15+ additional modules.
