A Adobe Photoshop Case Study
Nippon Television Network Corporation, a leading Japanese broadcaster, needed a cost-effective way to produce high-quality native 4K television — including live sports — without the expense and delay of traditional transcoding and turnkey systems. To meet this challenge, Nippon TV adopted Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise, deploying tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro CC, and After Effects CC across its technical operations and design teams.
By implementing Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise (including Adobe Photoshop) on all designer workstations and switching editing to Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Nippon TV built professional, cost-efficient 4K workstations that view native 4K on a single screen and support 60p where needed. The Adobe solution streamlined workflows across multiple codecs (Grass Valley HQ/HQX and XAVC), removed the need for shared workspaces, and enabled projects like a Ryoanji Temple 4K exhibit and a 4K baseball broadcast—delivering greater flexibility, speed, and lower production cost.
