Military installation connects Army families to morale-building services and education

Fort Gordon, a U.S. Army installation in Augusta, Georgia, needed to raise awareness of Family and MWR education, sports, and leisure programs and produce a wide variety of high-quality promotional materials. To expand creative possibilities and streamline production, Fort Gordon’s marketing team adopted Adobe Photoshop as part of an enterprise Adobe Creative Cloud deployment (including Photoshop CC and other Creative Cloud apps).

Using Adobe Photoshop alongside Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, PhoneGap Build, Adobe Color, and TypeKit, the team produced apps, websites, videos, webzines, and print collateral, and experimented with advanced video techniques. Adobe Photoshop helped power the redesign and multi-platform compilation of the Army Family Teambuilding app (via PhoneGap Build), which led to a significant increase in downloads, while the site’s events calendar now draws 80% of traffic—delivering richer communications and stronger reach.
