Mapúa Institute of Technology, a Manila-based university with more than 12,000 students, sought to keep student skills marketable, train graduates for competitive creative industries, and raise its global profile. Using Adobe Photoshop and the wider Adobe Creative Cloud suite (CreativeSync, Premiere Pro CC, Captivate, etc.), Mapúa integrated industry-standard workflows across the School of Multimedia and Visual Arts, boosting collaboration and real-world skills. The Adobe Photoshop-based solution delivered measurable impact: student work was featured by Adobe, Michael Medina won a Platinum award, film students placed third and earned honorable mentions at major festivals, and graduates are entering multimedia roles locally and abroad — demonstrating Adobe Photoshop’s role in strengthening Mapúa’s competitive edge.
