A Adobe Photoshop Case Study
Late Night with Seth Meyers needed to launch a daily late‑night show in 2014 using a new non‑linear editor while meeting tight daily deadlines, integrating remote segments, show graphics and live theatrical content, and supporting close collaboration across the post team. To meet those challenges the show adopted Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise — including Premiere Pro CC, Prelude, After Effects CC, Photoshop CC and Audition CC — with Adobe Photoshop as part of the solution set.
Using Adobe Creative Cloud, the team built standardized Premiere Pro templates and an integrated ingest-to-delivery workflow (ingesting seven camera feeds, assembling acts, collapsing audio stems into 5.1 mixes, and exporting ProRes 422 @29.97fps for A+ QC) that enabled same‑day turnarounds and seamless graphics integration. The workflow implemented with Adobe Photoshop helped Late Night with Seth Meyers become the first late‑night comedy show to launch on Premiere Pro, improved cross‑show collaboration and consistently produced high‑quality audio and video while meeting the network’s 10:30 p.m. delivery deadline.
