Larcier Group, automating legal and Professional Publishing

Larcier Group, a Brussels-based specialist legal publisher serving judges, lawyers and notaries, needed to speed up production of high-volume, short‑lifecycle bilingual legal content while keeping costs and manual work low. To meet that challenge they standardized on Adobe FrameMaker and other Adobe Creative Cloud apps — including Adobe Photoshop as part of their toolset — to integrate with their content management system and automate XML-based publishing.

By deploying Adobe FrameMaker with FrameScript, templates and CMS integration (and using Creative Cloud tools such as Adobe Photoshop for design tasks), Larcier automated XML-to-layout conversion, PDF generation and many editorial processes. The Adobe solution cut publishing cycles by up to 60%, improved quality and reduced manual checks, supported about 20 FrameMaker users and helped the Larcier Group cost‑effectively expand titles and manage hundreds of thousands of pages per year.
