A Adobe Photoshop Case Study
HP needed to modernize its HP Smart mobile app experience — consolidating prototyping, enforcing consistent iconography across teams, and finding imagery that clearly communicates features and personalization options. To address this, HP adopted Adobe Photoshop as part of Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise, using tools such as Adobe XD CC for prototyping, Adobe Stock for imagery, Creative Cloud Libraries for shared assets, and Photoshop CC/Illustrator CC for asset creation.
Using the Adobe Creative Cloud solution, HP centralized prototyping in Adobe XD, put all iconography into shared Creative Cloud Libraries for universal access, and used Adobe Stock and Photoshop to source and refine imagery that improved UX communication and personalization. The result was a consumer-friendly tile redesign for the HP Smart app, streamlined collaboration (libraries are being rolled out to as many as 140 people globally), easier asset sharing and the ability to export working prototype URLs — delivering faster, more consistent app design with Adobe Photoshop at the core of the workflow.
