Cantina Creative, a Los Angeles–based animation and visual effects studio, needed faster, more reliable tools to support onscreen playback graphics, speed visual-effects workflows, and expand studio capabilities for blockbuster films. The team relies on Adobe Photoshop as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud toolset (including After Effects CC and Illustrator CC) to design and animate HUDs, monitor graphics, matte paintings, and other on-set and post material.

Using Adobe Creative Cloud—leveraging After Effects CC, Photoshop CC, and Illustrator CC—the studio refreshed its rig and workflows, producing monitor replacements and large storytelling elements for films like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Furious 7. The work with Adobe Photoshop and the Creative Cloud delivered dramatic gains in preview performance (3× faster for 32‑bit comps, 13× faster for 8‑bit comps) and cut a 62‑frame RAM‑preview from 39 minutes to just 3 minutes, enabling faster reviews and more ambitious visual storytelling.
