Case Study: Los Angeles International Airport achieves real-time situational awareness and efficient mobile inspections with Adobe Marketing Cloud (Adobe Experience Manager forms)

A Adobe Marketing Cloud Case Study

Preview of the Los Angeles International Airport Case Study

Los Angeles International Airport, enhancing the passenger experience

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the second-largest U.S. airport serving about 72 million passengers annually, needed a scalable way to monitor 1,900 critical assets across nine terminals. Facing fragmented, out-of-date data from spreadsheets and phone calls, LAX (operated by Los Angeles World Airports) evaluated options and chose Adobe—specifically Adobe Experience Manager forms—to give terminal managers a mobile, freeform inspection tool.

Adobe deployed Adobe Experience Manager forms (part of Adobe Marketing Cloud) so 20 terminal managers use iPads and custom forms to update asset status into a back-end SQL database and dashboards viewed by roughly 50 executives. The Adobe solution replaced manual processes with automated, real-time inspections and intuitive dashboards, improving situational awareness across all nine terminals, speeding emergency response, and enhancing comfort and convenience for tens of millions of passengers.
