Case Study: KfW Bankengruppe achieves standardized, automated intelligent PDF forms and reduced IT support costs with Adobe Marketing Cloud

A Adobe Marketing Cloud Case Study

Preview of the KfW Bankengruppe Case Study

KfW Bankengruppe uses Adobe Experience Manager forms to modernize processes, enabling direct exchange of data in forms with other applications

KfW Bankengruppe, a large German development bank, faced incompatible and error-prone internal forms (InfoPath, Excel, Word, SharePoint) that increased IT support and slowed processing. To standardize and modernize its forms, KfW turned to Adobe, deploying Adobe Experience Manager forms (part of Adobe Marketing Cloud) to replace legacy templates and enable smarter, enterprise-wide PDF forms.

Adobe implemented Adobe Experience Manager forms (with partner Formatix GmbH) to convert and standardize forms into intelligent PDFs that exchange data with Excel and back-end systems, trigger emails, and enforce validation. In just three weeks 50 standardized PDF forms were delivered, improving usability, reducing manual errors and IT support requests, enabling automated budget transfers and long‑term cost reductions — all driven by Adobe Experience Manager forms.
