HTW Berlin, Berlin’s largest university of applied sciences with more than 13,000 students and roughly 570 staff, faced fragmented, paper-based and department-specific forms that slowed administrative processes and required a multi-device, integration-capable solution. To tackle this, HTW Berlin partnered with Adobe and deployed Adobe Experience Cloud—specifically Adobe Experience Manager Forms (including Forms Server)—to create adaptive, browser-based eForms and enable department-led automation and electronic signatures.
Adobe implemented dynamic, rule-driven forms and electronic workflows that integrate with the university’s HIS and MACH ERP systems, centralizing templates in a forms portal and enabling self-service across devices. The Adobe solution accelerated processes, reduced manual errors (for example by automating invoicing for teaching assignments), lowered support inquiries, established a university-wide standard for forms management, and improved back-end integration and efficiency.
