A Adobe InDesign Case Study
Rochester Institute of Technology faced the challenge of equipping 18,063 students with the creative and technical skills employers demand while simplifying campuswide software licensing and compliance. To meet that need, RIT turned to Adobe InDesign as part of Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite to give students industry-standard tools and an integrated workflow across design, animation, and publishing courses.
RIT implemented an enterprise‑term license agreement for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe DPS, with Adobe InDesign at the center of digital publishing workflows, enabling project work like the Pawprints app and student DPS publications. The result: students became more tech‑savvy and career‑ready (one student moved on to a role at GQ), faculty and students gained seamless collaboration and up‑to‑date apps, and IT benefited from streamlined licensing, predictable annual costs, easier audits, and time savings from optional updates.
