Military installation connects Army families to morale-building services and education

Fort Gordon, a U.S. Army installation in Augusta, Georgia, needed to raise awareness of Family and MWR education, sports, and leisure programs and to produce a wide variety of high‑quality promotional materials while expanding creative capabilities. To address this, the Fort Gordon marketing team adopted Adobe InDesign as part of an enterprise Adobe Creative Cloud deployment to design print collateral and support multi‑channel communications.

Using Adobe InDesign alongside other Creative Cloud apps and services (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dreamweaver, PhoneGap Build, TypeKit, and Adobe Color), Fort Gordon produced apps, websites, videos, webzines, flyers, and banners, improved visual appeal, and experimented with advanced video techniques. The Adobe InDesign‑enabled workflow helped relaunch the Army Family Teambuilding (AFTB) app (compiled with PhoneGap Build), with downloads increasing significantly, while the site’s events calendar now drives 80% of traffic—demonstrating stronger engagement and broader awareness of MWR programs.
