A Adobe InDesign Case Study
KADOKAWA, a major Japanese publishing and entertainment company consolidating nine brand companies under its "One Company" strategy, faced costly, time-consuming software management: each department used different versions, license tracking was fragmented, and upgrades/maintenance were expensive. To address these challenges, KADOKAWA turned to Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise to centralize and standardize creative software across the organization.
Using Adobe InDesign as part of Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise and the Adobe Enterprise Dashboard, KADOKAWA centralized licenses, eliminated excess spending on unneeded licenses, and simplified user provisioning and compliance. The deployment improved production efficiency and version compatibility, generated strong adoption (550 Adobe ID applications in the first month), and delivered significant cost savings on upgrades and maintenance while reducing compliance risk.
