Case Study: Los Angeles International Airport achieves real-time asset monitoring and faster inspections with Adobe Experience Manager

A Adobe Experience Manager Case Study

Preview of the Los Angeles International Airport Case Study

LLos Angeles International Airport, enhancing the passenger experience

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), serving about 72 million passengers annually, needed a way to monitor 1,900 critical assets across nine terminals and replace fragmented spreadsheets, phone calls, and delayed updates with real-time situational awareness. Seeking a mobile, flexible inspection tool, LAX selected Adobe Experience Manager (implemented as Adobe Experience Manager forms within Adobe Marketing Cloud) to give terminal managers a freeform, tablet-based approach to inspections.

Adobe Experience Manager delivered a mobile forms solution used by 20 terminal managers on iPads to update asset status, feeding into a back-end SQL database and intuitive dashboards viewed by roughly 50 executives and managers. The vendor’s solution replaced manual processes with automated, real-time inspections and dashboards, improved response time during incidents, enabled trend analysis across terminals, and supports ongoing service improvements that benefit tens of millions of passengers annually.
