KfW Bankengruppe - Customer Case Study

KfW Bankengruppe, one of the world’s largest development banks, faced widespread incompatibilities and inefficiencies across several hundred internal forms—created in Excel, Word, SharePoint and InfoPath—which increased manual errors and IT support costs. To modernize and standardize its forms environment, KfW selected Adobe Experience Manager forms (part of Adobe Marketing Cloud) to replace aging InfoPath forms and improve usability and process reliability.

Using Adobe Experience Manager, with implementation support from partner Formatix GmbH, KfW converted the majority of its forms to intelligent PDFs—creating 50 standardized forms in three weeks—and added features such as automatic email triggers, data exchange with Microsoft Excel, and plans for back-end integration. The Adobe Experience Manager deployment increased form usability, reduced manual data entry errors, lowered IT support requests and costs, and established a platform for further workflow automation and process standardization.
