Investitionsbank Berlin - Customer Case Study

Investitionsbank Berlin, the regional development bank for the federal state of Berlin, faced the challenge of fully digitizing customer-facing application processes and delivering seamless, mobile-friendly self-service experiences. Confronted with browser incompatibilities, manual steps, automation gaps and rising workloads, the bank adopted Adobe Experience Manager (including Adobe Experience Manager Forms) as part of its move to a customer-centric, paperless portal.

Using Adobe Experience Manager Forms, IBB implemented responsive, standardized web forms tied to an information glossary and middleware that integrates with SharePoint, SAP, CRM, Schufa and KfW, consolidating 12 separate processes into a single application flow. The Adobe Experience Manager solution cut processing times by more than half, reduced form-creation time from half a day to about five minutes, standardized forms to lower error risk, and increased online adoption through a modern customer portal.
