HTW Berlin - Customer Case Study

HTW Berlin - University of Applied Sciences faced fragmented, paper-based and department-specific form processes that didn’t scale for a campus of more than 13,000 students and a heterogeneous IT landscape. To digitalize workflows, enable device‑agnostic form submission, and give departments the ability to automate their own processes (including future e‑signatures), HTW Berlin turned to Adobe Experience Manager and its Forms capabilities within the Adobe Experience Cloud.

Using Adobe Experience Manager Forms (Designer, Forms Server and the Forms Workbench), the vendor implemented browser-based adaptive PDF forms, centralized form templates and automated electronic workflows integrated with the university’s HIS and ERP systems. Adobe Experience Manager enabled a university‑wide standard that accelerated processes (for example, automated invoicing of teaching assignments with pre-filled data), reduced errors and support questions, and integrated disparate back‑end systems—streamlining administration across campus.
