A Adobe Experience Manager Case Study
Academy of Art University, a San Francisco–based art school with about 13,000 students across 27 departments, needed to prepare students for creative careers by providing industry‑standard software, standardizing tools and course materials, centralizing web content, and streamlining HR paperwork. To address these challenges the university turned to Adobe Experience Manager—alongside Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise and Adobe Sign—to modernize teaching, digital content, and administrative workflows.
Using Adobe Experience Manager Sites and Mobile together with enterprise Creative Cloud and Adobe Sign (integrated with Workday), the school gave every student, faculty, and staff member access to Creative Cloud (usable on ~600 lab computers or personal devices), built more than 45 custom web/course components, consolidated legacy sites into a single marketing site, enabled responsive mobile publications (like Peephole Magazine), integrated content with the LMS, and automated instructor agreements to be signed in minutes. The result: faster, more consistent content creation, improved learning and creativity, and measurable time savings in HR and course production driven by Adobe Experience Manager.
