Smartleasing, the vehicle-leasing division of Australia’s Smartsalary, faced a slow, error-prone leasing process that involved a 20‑page paper contract, multiple witnesses and signatories, and a typical five‑day turnaround. Customers frequently called for help, returned incomplete forms, and the company struggled to track and validate signatures across employers, employees and financiers while meeting security and compliance expectations.

By implementing Adobe Document Cloud with Adobe Sign integrated into Salesforce, Smartleasing moved contracts behind a secure customer portal, pre-populated fields from CRM data, enforced validation rules, and automated signature routing and tracking. The result: contract generation dropped from 20 minutes to 2 minutes (about 90% faster), agreements can be completed within 30 minutes enabling same‑day vehicle delivery, signing errors and missed fields fell dramatically, and visibility and authentication for financiers were significantly improved.
