AusNet Services, which delivers energy to 1.3 million homes and businesses across extensive electricity and gas networks, needed faster, auditable, and more efficient procurement and contract administration to keep maintenance and construction moving and ensure reliable 24/7 service. Manual contract handling slowed projects and made compliance and visibility difficult for administrators and executives.

By integrating Adobe Sign (Adobe Document Cloud) with SAP Ariba and Microsoft SharePoint, AusNet automated signing workflows and audit trails, cutting contract turnaround from about four weeks to two days, enabling batch signings of 150 people via MegaSign, and reducing administrative effort. Completed contracts now load automatically into Ariba to trigger purchase orders, freeing staff for higher‑value work and improving compliance and operational speed.
