Idaho kickstarts students’ education with Adobe Creative Cloud and support for Adobe Certified Associate credentials

The Idaho State Department of Education needed a way to close the digital divide, boost digital literacy, and inspire lifelong learning for students across a large rural state. Working with Adobe Creative Cloud, the agency aimed to give teachers and students access to industry-standard creative tools and help them compete for future education and workforce opportunities.

Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise was implemented through an ETLA, extending access to apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Premiere Pro at school and at home. The program also supported Adobe Certified Associate credentials, resulting in 1,469 certifications in 2017–18 and expanding from a 25-school pilot to 65 middle and high schools, with stronger student confidence, collaboration, and real-world skills.
