A Adobe Connect Case Study

Preview of the Infinite Family Case Study

Worldwide network of mentors use Adobe Connect to provide guidance and support to African children, instilling a spirit of self-reliance

Infinite Family is a nonprofit that connects adult mentors worldwide with teens and pre-teens in African communities affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty, using virtual meeting rooms to provide guidance, tutoring, and emotional support. Founded by Amy Stokes, the organization needed a reliable, secure, and interactive platform that would work across devices and in low-bandwidth township, informal settlement, and rural settings while protecting minors and enabling rich, multi‑modal learning experiences.

Infinite Family adopted Adobe Connect, whose modular pods deliver video, chat, games, whiteboards and other engagement tools with much lower bandwidth requirements (about 20% of the previous version), plus improved mobile support and security. The result: higher-quality, more interactive conversations that scale to more sites and users, stronger mentor training and safeguarding, and the ability to expand the program into additional rural and international locations.
