CFHI delivers bilingual events across Canada to help organizations improve patient care and community health

The Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) is a government-funded non-profit that helps health organizations across Canada adopt and scale evidence-based, patient-centered improvements. CFHI relies on distance learning and webinars to drive collaboration among stakeholders, but faced the challenge of delivering truly bilingual (French and English) events that create a shared experience for participants while cutting travel and webcast costs and increasing participation.

CFHI adopted Adobe Connect, using breakout rooms with shared chat, polls, whiteboards and other apps to run seamless bilingual events and record sessions for on-demand access. The platform boosted engagement with interactive features and delivered major savings — a full year’s Adobe Connect license cost about what a single webcast previously did, Adobe eliminated $12,000 in travel for a two-day panel, and saved roughly $1,000 per remote participant — while supporting dozens of public webinars and hundreds of collaborative sessions.
