CoreSHIELD, an integrated enterprise framework operated by the National Center for Food Protection and Defense, needed a secure, interoperable platform to break down information silos and enable rapid interagency collaboration during food-safety emergencies. Adobe ColdFusion delivered a scalable, secure backbone hosting dozens of branded portals and enabling single sign-on, ad-hoc web meetings, and full-scale training. The solution supports roughly 350,000 users, increased development productivity threefold, shortened food-recall lifecycles, and improved crisis response and collaboration — demonstrating Adobe ColdFusion’s measurable impact on national food security and interagency communication.
