Elektrobit, a global provider of software for vehicle infrastructure and autonomous driving based in Erlangen (est. 1988, ~3,500 employees), needed to modernize slow, paper-based signature processes used for EVAL agreements, NDAs and other purchasing and legal documents. With a hybrid and remote workforce and the need to offer attractive conditions to in-demand IT professionals, the company sought a unified, secure digital-signature solution to speed workflows and support flexible working.

Elektrobit piloted and then rolled out Adobe Acrobat Sign in autumn 2020 for its purchasing and legal departments, working with Adobe to tailor the solution. The company now uses fully digitalized signature workflows that cut document turnaround times, enable flexible remote working from any location, and help position Elektrobit as a modern, attractive employer.
