Varian Medical Systems, a global leader in cancer care technology, needed to reduce heavy, regulation-driven paperwork that was slowing installations, service visits, contracts and HR processes so employees could focus on improving patient outcomes. The company sought a digital transformation that would streamline workflows across 162 countries and support rapid growth while minimizing administrative overhead for clinicians and Varian staff.

Varian migrated from DocuSign to Adobe Acrobat Sign, rolling out 10,000 SSO-enabled accounts with automatic provisioning and integrations into Okta, Salesforce Service Cloud, CLM and Workday. The two-month deployment enabled remote work for the workforce, supported hundreds of hires, automated field service reports and contract flows, and is expected to increase annual e-signature volume from about 8,000 to 300,000—speeding transactions, reducing delays and helping get life‑saving equipment to clinicians faster.
