The University of New Mexico builds a bridge to the future as an Adobe Creative Campus

The University of New Mexico, a research university serving a predominantly Hispanic and many first-generation, rural student population, needed to broaden digital literacy and creative skills across campus while scaling tools and support for remote learning. Leaders sought an affordable, campus-wide way to give students and faculty the software, training, and administrative workflows required to improve teaching, learning, and career readiness.

UNM became an Adobe Creative Campus and deployed Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud enterprise licenses, paired with workshops, tutoring, course integration, and faculty support through the Center for Teaching and Learning. The initiative made industry-standard apps widely available, enabled new design certifications and interdisciplinary projects, supported remote instruction during the pandemic, and streamlined administrative processes with Acrobat Sign—boosting student engagement, practical skills, and operational efficiency.
