STRABAG SE, a Vienna‑based construction group founded in 1835 with about 74,000 employees, faced slow, paper‑heavy contract workflows on site—often exchanging and signing up to 500‑page document sets during negotiations—causing long turnaround times, travel, and time‑consuming copying and scanning while still requiring full legal certainty and security.

STRABAG implemented Adobe Acrobat Sign (including the mobile app) to enable on‑site touchscreen signing, secure email signature collection with advanced 2‑factor authentication, and automated audit trails. The rollout eliminated the need to print large contracts, cut two to three hours (and up to half a day per document set) from preparation tasks, supported about 17,000 signatures in a month, reduced travel, improved legal compliance and sustainability, and received positive user feedback.
