Preview of the NCMEC Case Study

Saving children’s lives, one image at a time

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) works to find missing and at-risk kids but faced time-critical, scaling and accessibility challenges: manual, paper-heavy workflows and a homegrown website that couldn’t manage growing digital assets or serve mobile audiences quickly—limiting visibility for critical case images and slowing approvals needed to publish missing-child information.

Partnering with Adobe, NCMEC implemented Adobe Experience Cloud (Experience Manager on Microsoft Azure), Creative Cloud, Acrobat and Acrobat Sign to centralize assets, adopt a mobile-first responsive site, add analytics and streamline document/signature workflows. The result was transformative: bounce rate fell from ~80% to 20% (a 75% reduction), 90% of visitors click content, page views rose ~48% in three months, donation-page traffic jumped 218%, workflows sped up and forensic imaging and media tools have helped identify and reunite hundreds to thousands of children.
