Platform Housing Group kicks off a digital transformation to better serve tenants with Adobe Acrobat Sign

Platform Housing Group, a not‑for‑profit housing association based in Solihull with about 1,500 employees, set out to become a landlord of choice by speeding up lettings and reducing in‑person contact—needs made urgent by the COVID‑19 pandemic. Final tenancy agreements had required staff to travel across the Midlands for face‑to‑face signings, costing time, money and creating health risks.

The organisation rolled out Adobe Acrobat Sign to deliver fully contactless, auditable tenancy agreements and build digital onboarding workflows (with plans to link to Microsoft Dynamics). The change saves up to three hours per agreement, helped complete 1,478 e‑signings and reissue 800 agreements, and reduced travel costs by more than £86,000 in under a year—while improving tenant experience and accelerating move‑ins.
