METRO AG, a leading wholesale group with more than 97,000 employees, needed to eliminate paper forms and speed up signature-driven HR and procurement processes across its global organization. The company’s goal was to digitally consolidate all employee-life-cycle documents, accelerate internal releases, and enable a scalable, low-friction rollout.
METRO implemented cloud-based Adobe Acrobat Sign, which integrated seamlessly into existing workflows with minimal training and support. The result: signature turnaround dropped from as much as 288 hours to about 10 hours, a 28x faster implementation versus the previous manual process; today ~1,400 users run some 20,000 signature processes a year, removing media disruptions, enabling remote work during COVID-19, and freeing IT to focus on customer-facing innovations.
