Preview of the ITV Case Study

ITV uses Adobe Acrobat Sign to help produce the biggest shows with the smallest environmental footprint

ITV, the UK’s largest commercial television network reaching over 30 million viewers a week and home to shows like Coronation Street and Love Island, set ambitious sustainability targets including zero waste by 2030. The company faced significant paper waste and slow, insecure contract workflows—monthly production and talent contracts meant heavy printing, mailing delays, and compliance and data‑security risks.

By rolling out Adobe Sign across production, HR, legal and other teams, ITV digitized contract workflows—saving about 3.4 million pieces of paper a year (≈280,000/month), 360,000 gallons of water and nearly 20,000 lbs of waste monthly. Administrative time to prepare contracts dropped 82%, 80% of contracts are signed within two days instead of two weeks, and features like Bulk Send and built‑in audit trails improved speed, security and remote signing for productions and large casts.
