Intercontinental Exchange modernizes documentation for the global market

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), which operates more than a dozen global exchanges including the New York Stock Exchange, needed to modernize document workflows to serve customers and employees faster and more securely. Paper signatures and a legacy e‑signature vendor slowed onboarding, complicated compliance, and created inefficiencies across sales, legal, HR, and operations.

ICE migrated to Adobe Acrobat Sign in three months, integrating it with Salesforce, Microsoft SharePoint and ServiceNow and training teams for a seamless rollout. The switch enabled fully digital workflows—processing more than 60,000 documents in two years, cutting average contract turnaround to seven minutes, eliminating much paper, and reducing contract risk while improving security and global responsiveness.
