Fertilizing the digital future with data

KWS SAAT SE is a global crop-breeding and seed specialist based in Germany, with about 5,000 employees and roughly €1 billion in revenues. Facing a surge of data and dispersed operations across 70+ countries, the company needed to digitally transform its document workflows—centralizing administrative tasks in a new Global Transaction Center and moving from paper-based processes to faster, more collaborative, and secure digital document handling.

KWS implemented Adobe Document Cloud, using Acrobat Pro DC for OCR and SAP integration and Adobe Sign for cloud-based e‑signatures, under a three-year ETLA for scalable licensing. The solution made signing faster and more transparent, enabled searchable storage and improved record capture, and delivered greater budget predictability while supporting broader rollout of paperless processes.
