Airbus, the multinational aerospace group with about 134,000 employees, faced slow, paper-based HR workflows across multiple countries with hundreds of locally varied document templates, manual signing processes, and compliance requirements like GDPR. HR needed a single, Workday-integrated e-signature solution to speed onboarding, reduce template sprawl, and provide secure, auditable document handling.

Airbus deployed Adobe Sign integrated directly into Workday across France, Germany, Spain and the UK, consolidating roughly 400 template variants down to about 20 per country and automating population, signing, storage and audit trails within Workday. The change processes some 15,000 HR documents and 45,000 e-signatures yearly, cuts signing time to about 15 minutes, improves candidate and employee experience, and ensures global compliance and trackability.
