TomTom, a global leader in digital mapping and car navigation, faced growing complexity in supporting trade marketing across 30+ countries and many languages. Before working with Adnovate, TomTom struggled to track orders and usage of marketing materials, manage stock and localisation, and ensure campaigns were fully utilised—resulting in wasted collateral and inefficient processes. They needed a single webshop/extranet and a digital-asset management backbone to improve control, accountability and speed to market.
Adnovate delivered a phased Service Platform combining an extranet, DAM, automated artwork localisation, a POS e‑shop and logistics/printer integrations, with an operational service desk to fast-track changes. The platform went live within weeks for core functions and reached full implementation in about eight months, enabling local ordering, real‑time stock control, automated localisation and a planning loop that flags unused materials. Results included reduced waste, faster lead times, higher efficiency across planning-to-delivery, improved trade support and early cost savings that made the project cash‑positive within six months.
