Deseret First Credit Union, a Utah-based community financial institution, faced the challenge of modernizing its digital member experiences built on its legacy Temenos core banking platform. Their internal team lacked the capacity and modern engineering practices to build new consumer-facing web applications for tasks like account opening and loan applications, leading to slow and risky releases. They partnered with the vendor Admios to address this.

Admios embedded two front-end engineers who became the primary development capacity, building a suite of modern Next.js applications. The team established the credit union's first automated CI/CD pipeline, shipped five major versions of the account opening system, and launched a full online loan application. Beyond delivered software, Admios introduced critical engineering maturity, proactively patching a high-severity vulnerability and cleaning up analytics infrastructure. This partnership, active for years, delivered the core of DFCU's consumer-facing digital infrastructure.
