Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA), founded in 1968 and Northern California’s largest nonprofit arts education provider serving over 20,000 students annually, faced a failing homegrown registration system that couldn’t handle real‑time enrollments, multi‑student family transactions, or agile reporting. The old process forced parents to register each child separately, created staff bottlenecks during high‑demand registration periods, and relied on slow FileMaker Pro exports and manual private‑lesson workflows.
CSMA implemented the ASAP online registration platform, adding family accounts, a multi‑student shopping cart with single checkout, instant account access, real‑time enrollment tracking, improved reporting and a private‑lessons module to automate workflows.
