Honeywell Smart Energy launched an "instant rebate program" for an Ohio utility to process consumer rebate applications for qualifying thermostats and needed reliable OCR and data extraction from retail receipts. Adlib Software was brought in to provide intelligent OCR and automated data extraction to capture purchase details from submitted receipts.

Adlib Software integrated with the Honeywell Smart Energy consumer rebate portal via secure web services so receipts are submitted to Adlib, processed in real time, and returned as an OCR'd PDF along with the extracted qualifying line item, price, and purchase date for further processing.
