Global Energy Company faced a high-volume, manual process for converting, printing and mailing Microsoft Office files and image scans, which created paper-heavy workflows, limited searchability (TIFFs) and slowed workforce productivity. To address these challenges they turned to Adlib Software and its Advanced Rendering solution, Adlib PDF Enterprise, to find an efficient alternative for document conversion and delivery.

Adlib Software implemented an automated, unattended batch-processing solution using watched folders and scan automation, converting 28,000 documents per month. The deployment eliminated printing and mailing for roughly 700 users, introduced full-text search and PDF/A archiving, reduced paper flow, increased workgroup productivity and improved customer satisfaction by delivering faster, more accurate information via links instead of paper.
