National Gas Pipeline Company Migrates Over 1 Million Documents and Consolidates ECMs

National Gas Pipeline Company, with a small IT team and multiple content systems, needed to migrate over 1 million largely unsearchable TIFF documents from a legacy FileNet environment to OpenText while maintaining integrations with K2, SharePoint and other systems. They required conversion to searchable PDFs via OCR and had forecast a migration rate of about 9,000 documents per day. To accomplish this they engaged Adlib Software and used Adlib PDF Enterprise.

Adlib Software deployed its high‑definition document‑to‑PDF standardization and OCR engine on a single server, converting and indexing the backlog and integrating with the customer’s ECM and K2 workflows.
