LyondellBasell, a global chemical company managing thousands of AutoCAD and MicroStation engineering drawings, faced a major document management challenge: their old console-based converter pushed files into TIFF, was not text-searchable, lacked monitoring and vendor support, and created frequent backlogs and manual intervention in Documentum.
